Collection: Children's Bikes

Almost all of our kid bikes are mostly new or used. Kids grow so fast, we decided to offer this inexpensive way of getting your young rider on a bike. We will order new bikes if you want and occasionally we do get new bikes in at a crazy great price.

We have not been able to post all our inventory of kids bikes in the past so we have leased a warehouse near the shop. We will have all our kids bikes, as well as our used and vintage bikes, at The Warehouse. Hours will be limited but the website will be up to date. We expect The Warehouse to be open to the public in March 2026. More news to follow.

50% Buy Back Guarantee

Because kids grow so quickly, we offer a buy back program where, under a couple of basic conditions, we offer up to 50% of the purchase price towards your child’s next, larger bike.

This applies to all bikes purchased from us with wheels from 12.5" to 24" with the exception of BMX bikes due to the nature of BMX riding.

Bikes need to returned to us within two years of purchase in good condition. This means no excessive wear on the bicycle.

Reasons you may not get 50% include: broken parts, tires worn past the wear lines, excessive scratches and/or dents.

We're trying to keep this simple, please don't be the reason we add another condition.

WHAT SIZE BIKE DO YOU NEED

We took information from four different charts to make this.

2 - 5 year olds - Balance Bike - We don't sell these. We offer them free for three months, based on availability, with a small deposit.

Riders 2’4” - 3’2” tall or 1 - 4 years old or 14 - 17” inseam usually need a bike with 12 inch wheels.

Riders 3’2” - 4’0” tall or 3 - 7 years old or having 18 - 22” inseam, usually need a 16" wheeled bike.

Riders 4’0” - 5’0” tall or  7 - 13 years old or having 22 - 25” inseam, usually need a 20" wheeled bike.

Riders 4'8" to 5'7" tall or 24 - 28" inseam, usually need a 24" wheeled bike or a 26" wheeled bike that is extra small or small.

You may find yourself thinking "Hey, why aren't there any 14" or 18" bikes shown on this chart?" Because we noticed that for recommended heights, the 12" bikes end where the 16" bikes start and the the 20" bikes start where the 16" bikes end. It looks like the 14's and 18's overlapped the others needlessly.
