Bicycle Donations & Give-away

Yes, we accept bicycle donations.

As part of our mission, we fix donated bikes, tune them and then give them away free to people that wouldn't normally be able to buy a bike for whatever reason.

When fixing your donated bike(s), we donate our time and resources such as replacement parts like new inner tubes, new gear and brake cables or other required parts.

While we do give away bikes at the shop and warehouse, in 2025 we asked Brantford's  "Free Sport for Growth" to help us distribute these bikes. With them, we do two big give-aways each year: one in the Spring and one in the Fall.

The bikes we give away directly are given through non-profit groups and charities as well as ourselves when we hear of a need. We have worked with groups like CAS, Big Brothers & Big Sisters and various area churches.

If a bike is beyond repair, we will strip it of useable parts and set them aside for other donated bikes. The frame is usually given to a group that sends bikes to Uganda, Africa.

Occasionally we get a bike that can be sold to help cover the expenses of this program but we will ask you first of that's ok with you.

Drop your bike off during open hours or contact us if you need them picked up.
